im assuming it'd be midi..it'd make sense .. lookin forward to findin out in december!

like the korg m3 drum pads, they can fire off different chords. rolling them with note repeat would be dope.

Just to co-sign: The new features look really good!!! As long as OS2 projects work properly in OS2XL. It really has to work 100% or otherwise it will be too much of a headache.

i cant see the os2 projex not working, this is barely an overhaul, just some new features.

I've seen something similar on the Karma/M3 controls, though this looks to be many more pads worth.

yeah, chord pads a la the Korg M3 has been something I have been wanting for a very long time on the MPC. If there is a "chord learn" feature like the M3 as well, that lets you play a chord on a keyboard, have it detected, and then map that to a pad, then I will be even happier.

A while back I sent an email to the JJ guy/guys about chord pads and showed a video of the M3 as an example. I'm glad we'll finally be getting the feature.

anybody else around here ever done the math on how much money "somebody" has made selling illegal software for the mpc1000? im sure everybody knows what an "end user license agreement" is.

Sorry ladies, I'm still on OS1 and have no use to move up. I'm not a sampler, I compose musical compositions so yall go ahead fork over some more dough consumers and twiddle the MPC nipples. Chords are meant to be played on ebony and ivory.
