MPC 2000 voice overlap MONO/MUTE feature

Is there anyway of setting the voice overlap mute feature to mute every pad instead of just muting two at a time?

that is kinda the strong point of the mpc. you can put it on "note on" so it stops playing the sample when you let go of the pad.

technically you could mute up to 6 pads with 1 pad, tho it is a bit of work. you setup 3 pads to mute the 6 pads and then you make 1 of the pads trigger the other 2 and have silence on pads 2 and 3.

or if you have an unused pad you can assigns a sound adjust the envelope so it becomes silent and you can use it to mute out other sounds.

I never understood people who need to mute this much sound on their compositions. Work around it with note off and chopping.
