MPC 2000 XL OS help!!!!!!!!!!!

I bought an MPC 2000 XL off ebay which was D.O.A and it had some problems.
Like messed up buttons, Floppy Drive and only 4 pads were working out of the 16. I was told by a fellow producer friend of mine that reinstalling the OS will fix the problem. I already went to www.Forat.com and downloaded the OS and Manual, when I downloaded the OS and opened it it didn't have a file inside of it does anyone have this file? PLEASE UPLOAD.

Slap him after you find out it doesn't fix it.

Why didn't you try downloading from the machines actual manufacturer, Akaipro.com?

Yea hes right man, im still new to my 2KXL but it sounds like you got ripped off and the OS will do nothing at all to fix it...Its all internal problems so it sounds like in order to get it working, youd have to spend more than what you probably paid for it....good luck man

I mean you can try the os reload but I think your problems with the machine might be deeper than that.
