Upgrade to 1k from 2k

OK, so it's not like I'm getting started, but I just got myself a used 1k Black, with expanded RAM, internal HD, and JJ OS 1 v4.99.....

I tell ya, the step up from my old 2k OG is quite a big one. Still trying to get my head around the different layout, the mountain of features on the JJ OS, smaller pads, FX, time-stretch, and no f*ckin Zip disks!

Don't sweat it, I'm reading the f*ckin manual.....still, £500 and 5 days later, and the ball ache is turning into a perpetual hard-on for this thing. I'm so glad I upgraded!

i upgraded to a 1g from a xl a couple a months ago. once u learn how to save on those cf cards u wont miss the zip. i used to use floppy's. sh!ts so much more organized
