Synthesizer with MPC.

Clavia Nord...some older Virus KB, if you need an integrated keyboard...rack versions are even cheaper, and for the saved money you could get a good MIDI keyboard. I would recommend starting off with a cheaper 2nd hand synth, unless you really really know you do need that piece of gear. 2500 EUR is a lot of money.

I already have a midikeyboard but i want to have 2 keyboards so i can control the synths from Reason and the synthesizer.

The Clavia nord has been my second choice after the Virus synth.
It costs Half of the price of the Virus Synth...
But i went to this store that had the Virus synth and i tested it and i i liked the sounds in it for my music production...

Is the Clavia nord good for Hip hop beats and soulfull beats?
I like more of the old westcoast sounds and i was wonderin if Clavia nord could be any good for that style?

Yo, it doesn't matter wat it looks like. Obviously for u is more about looks then quality, the micron is a 37 key synt that handles all the jobs plus more...I've had mine for a while now and no complaints.. Ur gonna go out and spend more money when u have all the qualitys u need in the micron...but hey dats on you!!

About that i said it looks crap... i didnt really mean by the looks but it doesnt have as much knobs in it( i guess it doesnt have any filters or effects in it)
and it has only 37 keys...

Doesn't have many knobs but it has filters,effects,pitch knob and, and a ridicoulous assortment of sounds...I thought the same way b4 I bought that puppy, but it was recommended by a lot of ppl so I just copped it and got hooked on it...real good synth in my opinion, just like the microkorg!

See, that's the point...don't judge a synth by its presets. And if I get it correctly, you did not even test another synth yet, is that right? That way you'll almost certainly end up paying double then what you really need.

If you know how to use it, you can get good sounds from any synth.

Microkorg, Micron etc. are another level, much simpler mostly in polyphony, timbres etc. and probably more complicated to program due to less controls. But cheaper.

Not really, the programing is a lot simplier than ppl think on the micron, not many buttons true, but programing isn't hard but just depends how much tyme u wiling to put forth in learning it top to bottom!!

there might be no need to sample your keyboard, but it is fun sampling notes, chords, melodies and playing them on the mpc pads.
