Another Glitch Problem..Sequences Erasing in Song Mode

THIS happens everytime.. in song mode after extensive periods working.. a random sequence disapears or 2 in song mode.. HAS THIS EVER HAPPENED TO ANYONE???????????

Yes happens to me too all the time. When you quickly navigate from page to page (seq-song), your shit gets deleted.

Don't use the latest (1.71) OS and the problem is gone.

You can download 1.70 from the Akai webpage. The MPC will load your 1.71 projects without a problem with 1.70 installed.

No. But OS1.71 feels a bit more snappy. I mean the parameters update a bit quicker if you change them in 1.71
You won't miss any of the features as far as I know if you go with 1.70.
I'm glad someone else is having the same problem because for a few years there I thought my MPC was a bad production from Akai's side. I guess it's not. Akai said I was trippin', they told me my MPC was corrupted somehow and it was all my fault. Once again another prove of how shitty the Akai company really is and how costumer-friendly they are NOT

I would contact Akai. Not to get it fixed but to let them know you have the problem too! Just for their own information.

yeah i have the same problem.i build my loop on sequence 1.so sequence 2 is always the first "intro" sequence in song mode.it gets deleted almost every time i write a song at least once.pi**es me off for sure.

Guys, after sitting here thinking about this, I'm starting to wonder if y'all are suffering from defective memory. Memory does go bad you know, especially "cheap" ram modules.

See if swapping out your memory does the trick. I mean after all, it is the ram memory that you're loosing, right?

Its not faulty memory. I even replaced the HD and disconnected the ADAT board for troubleshooting.
The ONLY solution is downgrading to 1.70
The people who dont experience this behavior I think are either very lucky or slower than us. Slower in terms of navigating in the MPC. The quicker I push buttons, the quicker a sequence gets deleted.
