im hoping you already know, but in case you dont, there is no autochop.

just so you don't post and ask about it. and if your looking for CF cards or a RAM upgrade, theres a sticky in the 500 forum that should answer all your questions.

but yeah, get the latest firmware, and if you plan on samlping into it alot, get a RAM upgrade.

other then that, just mess around with it and you'l learn alot about it. its a great machine, despite what many may say

latest firmware and good rechargable batteries. max out the internal ram memory, get at least a 2gb compact flash card, and get both online for cheaper too. get the mpc500 tutorial also if u get the chance. all that would start u up great! -bringin out the fullest potential of that little monster

officially yes, unofficially they wil work with larger sizes, but perhaps with reduced performance
