Yo Bed, if you ever take the side shelves off, could you snap a shot of them for me... My Jerker was used when I got and it did not have the extra shelving, so I need to design my own. I love this desk.

You're just talking about the shelf my inkjet printer is on right? That didn't come with the Jerker; I bought it as an accessory. They sold other additions to like file holders and stuff. You might be able to grab the shelf by itself from eBay. I paid about $30 for it if I remember correctly.

The Jerker is the best desk ever, seriously. I have no idea why Ikea quit making them because they have nothing comparable to it now. I even wish I could get another for my audio equipment. Here's some pics of the shelf by itself:

You're probably thinking of the Drumulator; it's still there.

They discontinued it being that everything that Ikea makes is made by a designer and it's on a contract hence why they put the person's name with the product so his contract with Ikea expired and that's why they make the FREDRIK is the new Jerker.

The Ikea Jerker is well loved by home studios and computer dudes the world over...
Such a great and flexible design. I know they no longer make them but I see them on craigslist all the time.

I got mine from Craigslist as well.... $25 from a lady that thought it was too big for her house..... I was looking all over for one... Checking diff sites everyday... I got lucky, and the price was great..... I will keep this desk as long as I can, even if I outgrow it. One of my Children can take it with them to College or something...
