Cant seem to figure this out

I been trying to figure out how I can get a sound to play only when I press a pad...like a horn sample, when I add it to a sequence it keeps playing but I want it to play when I push it only...

read the manual!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! damn...but anyway for a quick spoonfeeding, just go to program>params>voice overlap change it from poly to note off.

Dont worry you dont need to spoon feed me...and thnx 4 the help...my shitty pc freezes whenever I load the pdf manual so its hard to scroll through the damn thing...tnx

reinstall adobe reader.

why do you assign it to the sequence in the first place?

if you dont want to hear it after its already been sequenced simply mute whatever track its on and play your heart out. done deal.

Believe me....I am as hungry as it gets...I have learned alot from you guys and have picked up alot by myself as well, I know that sometimes their are post asking the simplest answers and those guys dont even bother trying to figure it out on their own and they want quick answers, but im not one of them....thnx for that link 2, I think im going to go to kinkos and have them make me a copy of the manual once i get it on a cd in pdf format...thnx alot
