One stays in the Studio,
The other goes with my Partner, now all he has to do is bring a cd to the studio instead of luggin his gear. We got rid of the 909 and other things we dont need anymore.

I really like the 909, its pretty amazing.
But where Roland fell short on this machine is the sound.
They should of made it 128 voice, and 24 bit sampling. Thats where this is lacking besides the smart media cards. But Really it was a great easy unit to have. Plus the SRX expansions were a bonus.
They should of through that in the MV. That would of changed things.
Anyway you can't lose with the 909.

If you re talking about the MC909, Ill go for a Yammie RS7000! Fatter distortion and more sampling time if Im not mistakin'.. Also much better sequencer!

The Seqencer on the 909 is really easy. I herd bad things about the RS7000 In the dept. You may want to play with them both ad see whats up.
