At least there is another alternative to making music, that's pimping a mpc or whatever it is that makes ya swing.

Nah brutha, no hate'n going on here.

I was just making the point that I don't care what Akai think if I want to pimp my MPC...lol

But let's get some things straight here - I bought the 5K to make music not to 'f@ck it' - but I do like to add my own personal touch to it - that's nothing new right?

Whereas you just happened to buy your 4K XLs pre-pimped - they sure are purdy!

Can't we all just get along? (even though y'all are secretly fantasizing about owning the 5K).

Guys, I didn't stop through to stur up anything, I stopped through to take part in y'alls debate on the black pads for the 5k.

Nevermind that I never got to the part of complimenting dude on the looks of adding those pads before I was made to look like a segregated stepchild or some bs. I'm not here to start anything, although I know that there's some that are still harboring hate because of what I do, which I really don't give a ****, I'll stand my ground on whatever it may be.

As I know it, this is an open forum regardless of what model you have. Do the guys over on the 4k forum make fun of you 5k katz whenever you come over and post threads (Jahrome)? I didn't think so. But that's ok, I know where you truely stand with us/me. Plus, I doubt if I'll ever need another flagship mpc, 'cause the 4k has all that I need to accomplish my tasks. Phuck chasing a gd mpc because of status & glamour, that's what b*tches do.

And this applies to whomever want's to wear this...As the word be told, it's not the machine that makes the music, it's the USER. Get my drift?

Straight up! I don't think anyone here is gonna argue that point.

All I know is that I love the 5K, other katz can use whatever they choose.

I'm not gonna get involved in any flame wars - I'll be over in the corner working on my beats (and looking good with my Black Pads  )

Now why don't we all form a circle and have a group hug

I doubled it up to 160gb - That's probably more than I'll need.

I've got all of my stock kits and samples on there and it still leaves a little more than 120gb available.

I could have gone for more, but it would've been overkill!

Peace - Elite :D

Do the guys over at the MPC 4000 forum make fun of you 5k katz whenever you come over and post threads? The answer is yes. Goinsg so far as to challenge to beat contest among other silly things. The funny part is if we actually wanted an MPC 4000, we would have bought one since they are so cheap today. I could have purchased two MPC 4000s for the money I spent on an MPC 5000. So once you guys get beyond the hate, we can get a group hug :P

 Nah man, it ain't me, it's that Seagrams. Nothing personal to anybody, just been hang'n over at my boys crib while he constructs his theater room in his basement. He's also got the studio going on too.

First...I am not here for your approval nor do I care what you think about what I do with my little toys. I certainly don't care about your music. Things probably wouldn't be this way if you choose to stop trying to antagonize me..or quit your hating.

But for the record, the MPC Forums have a sub forum for posting music. I posted a link awhile ago...and you know this....

In the words of the late great Bernie Mac "I ain't scared of your mutha*@#$%$!"
