I am DROOLING over the OASYS. NICE SET-UP!
Reminds me of J.R.'s set-up.
Hell noo.. My partner worked for a music store. Those photos are form different stages. IMO, that would be insane to own that many MPCs. We traded a MPC 4000, Nord Lead 3 and a 88 key Triton Studio for the Oasys. Later traded a MPC 4000 for the 2500. Big mistake!!!! So we took that back and got the 5000. Its' so much better.. Although, massive amounts of gear gets very technical when creating and energy consuming. Got overwhelming, so the studio has been down sized. No need for all that gear now a days. One partner only uses headphones, a laptop with logic and a midi board. I tried it but, I'm still not a fan of soft synths. Some things they just cant mimic.
"Since I'm in a grown man stage, no more gear hunting for me. I really hate getting new gear. Use what you got, make it work or pay someone to bring the best out your work. If all else fells, u have accepted failure."
Anyway I have a few friends doing very well in the entertainment business. I remember making beats in the basement, so much has changed.
