Exchange tips and tricks for the Akai MPC4000

Open it up and make sure the Ribbion from the screen to the motherboard is sucure.
That happen to me once after installing some ram.

ill try it cause i installed some ram about 2 months ago hope thats it, but if it was that wouldnt the whole screen be black, cause my back light is still on.

some LCD only have 250,000 hours on them.

after that it's replacement.

hope it's the cable.

To bad they didnt make an on/off buitton on the lcd screen like the s-series.

Anyone having their screens turning bleek already????

mine did the sanme thing after i shoved ram and a cdrom in.
i got it back once, but had to chuck it to akai to fix.
it was the ribbon cable but they had the magic fingers.
so dont worry too much.............
