Yes it is, I regret waiting so long to get one. I was a VESTAX JUNKIE for VESTAX JUNK, Vestax is decent but it is not PIONEER QUALITY nowhere near. I co-sign on that mixer. The mixer is dope and wish I did get that mixer instead of TTM57SL which is good. I like the effects !!!

The 909's fader curve is insane.. The 707 is great too if you don't need effects. But trust me, you NEED the 909's effects... It is one of the best if not the best DJ effects unit ever made. Couple that with the mixer that is built like a tank ( It is heavier than my DJM 606 ) with faders that kill the competition........ that mixer has yet to have anything come close to it..

here's my very first studio rig! notice everything is the 'little brother' version - smaller, portable, compact, cheaper but yes less features than its more costly brothers. hoping to upgrade everything in time... but for now Im pretty stoked. when i first came on this forum all i had was an mpc500, now im movin on up slowly but surely lol!

its just an RCA input switcher, swtich box, etc...

I would look at Sennheisers. Their headphones have always been my favorite.

Nah, it would only be a problem if I wanted to do some insane juggling but that's not my steez.

Just recently did a remodel in the lab, new desk, some fresh paint, and other goodies. Sorry bout the mess but sh*t we workin!

Made it from scratch, 2 sheets of 3/4" Poplar stacked for the top, 3/4" poplar for the cabinets, dark brown wood stain, simple rope lighting, and vinyl for the top. Actually the vinyl top is my favorite. Pretty easy to build and cost about $200 in materials not including rack brackets.
