Actually the vinyl top is my favorite. Pretty easy to build and cost about $200 in materials not including rack brackets.

I had a felling that desk was custom. It seem to fit just right. 8)

Same here, just because of how snug the mixer fits. Beautiful setup.

Hey Pound, you got some pics of the inside of the booth?

Aight so the booth is pretty basic but HIGHLY effective, its technically 2 seperate rooms, The outer room measures 5'X8' and. Then there is an air gap and the inner room measures at about 4'X6'. The glass is 3/4" thick. It rests on neoprene pads all around and is then sealed. I used 2 doors, one for the inner booth and one for the outer, They are both 32" with double paned glass. Insulation used was 3" thick roxul. For the sheetrock I used 2 layers of 3/4" all around. The big orange panels are simply 2X4"s with orange cloth and they are stuffed with left over insulation using the 2 large panels eliminated the need for tons of foam in there. Thats the basics of it. As far as how well does it work, well right outside my lab across the hall we have the rehearsal rooms. THeres times when we are in session and theres 4 bands jamming away. Although you hear it in the control room a bit, it has never come out on a recording.

One more thing, the booth is looking ugly these days its going to get a remodel this summer so dont mind the ugly azz molding :)
