MPC 500 Compact Flash Question

I got a 4gb card because I know alot of people on here use them with no problems even though it claims to be compatible with a maximum of 2gb cards.

I got a 4gb card and whenever I put it in, the MPC is sort of stuck. I cant scroll or use the cursor. I am sure the card is all the way in. When I go to the format card screen and put it in, it does the same thing and doesn't let me select yes as an option. Is this card not compatible or am I doing something wrong?

success with cards over 2gb are probably limited to certain manufactures (electronics can be picky like that) so if your default card works then its probably not supported.

Reformat it in the MPC.
