Copying a Track to a Different sequences...

got alot of sequences..and plenty of tracks wanted to know how can i copy over a track over in sequence 1 and put it on sequence 20

---> Step Edit -- Window ---> Copy to Library???????????


got this prob its annoying me right now.. if anyone out there can help out thankz peace

I don't believe you can do this in one go..

What I do is the following (correct me if there's an easier way):

Select the desired track. Press SEQ EDIT and select all the midi data. Copy it into the clipboard or the flash lib and paste it onto the new track you've selected.

There's lot's of basic stuff the MPC can't do but that's why people invented workarounds

Of course you can do this


In either Seq Edit or Step Edit .. Highlight the Notes that you want to
copy on that track (if you want to copy the whole track, highlight all
the notes, you hightlight by holding the shift button and using the cursors)
and then hit "Copy", and then you'll see the option "Copy To". Just
select Sequence and Track and time that you want to copy this data
to and hit "Do It.".

you dont even have to highlight all the notes if you want to copy the whole track
just go to the lower part of the screen (where it says View:all events), from there when you hit "copy" you get copy range, just fill in the range (start/end) of what needs to be copied and tell it where it has to go

yeah i cant get this to work either:
here is how i did it:
i have a guitar on seq. 1 track 9 that i want to move to seq. 9 track 9.
here is what i tried
step edit
copy
copy to
from seq. 1 track 9
copy
to seq. 9 track 9
do it
sequnce 9 has "track 009" with no sound.
tried this in seq and step edit.

yiu have forh=gotten to inpout the time field

that was suppose to be english

go into seq edit
hit goto + shift + end and then hit copy
press ALL
and then you press copy to and there you make the other settings

I'd forgotten how to do this as well!

It's one of those things that was present on the original OS,
so to find out about it you have to know which OS Addendum PDF to look it up in.....
