Hey guys. I've had my MPC for 6 months now, and it has been working flawlessly :) But the other day, I wanted to record a drumloop from it into Logic Pro isolating the right stereo signal. It turned out how I wanted, but now it seems that both L&R channels are sending the R signal, I only get sound on the right speaker/headphone. If I plug my headphones into both L and are, separately, I get sound in my left ear on both outputs. I checked the mixer settings - doesn't seem to be anything wrong there as far as I can see. Do you know what could be the problem? Any idea would be most appreciated.

Thoughts...

1) Go to trim and select the sample to see if you have a R/L channel
2) Check panning to see if it is panned hard Right
3) Try panning left and see what you get

Thanks NearTao, tried the first two, nothing happened. Tried panning hard left, no sound. Appreciate your thoughts :)

That for all loops, or just that loop?

Panning hard left should have both left and right channels playing on the left channel. Sounds like an odd problem.

On all loops, in all modes, even played back from the load menu. Odd problem indeed.. Tried just about everything now.

Everything except checking the pan on my soundcard, haha! That was the issue, just fixed it! Praise the divine energy in the universe! Have no idea how it got panned to the right. Doesn't matter, though :) Back to working on my EP! Sorry for wasting your time NearTao. Peace
