60 II or 3000 ?

My b-day is coming up and it's a milestone one so I'm getting something I've always wanted but never got . It's gonna be either a 60 II or a 3000 . I've always had a 2000 classic and have never fcked w/ either of these machines . I'm looking for comparisons by people who have used both .

i've always had the 2000xl, but always wanted the 3000le, and i just ran into one at guitar center 2 days ago and had to buy it! after selling my regular 3000 a while ago, i got my shit back! i never made a beat on the 3000 i first had, i never even tried to learn it, i'll learn that mutha' now though... i do know that the drums sound sooooo much better on the 3000 than the xl, i say get you a 3000le!!! but then again the 60ii is also nice and has that sound... and you can also put the new os so it'll be like the 3000 as far as i know... up 2 u homeboi!

yo i just wanna recommend an alternative to producers who spend heaps on different samplers for their sound. Analog filter boxes have taken over my production world and provide the exact warmth, saturation and control on the sound as i want. i got the moog low pass, frostwave ms20 filters and the evolver in a chain, and its the shit. moogerfooger filter and drive is out of control.

so yeah, consider external processors like analog filterboxes. way cheaper and way more depth in terms tone.

just as an alternative...

and then again wit him playin em along wit a few other effect pedals...

never been hands on with a 3000 but i wish i knew somebody that had one so i can see what the big deal is about the sound on it being so much better than all the other mp's

i do know i would go with it over a 60II though.

how much do these usually run for? and where would you find them?
