.wav to akai format

Hi,
I'm new to this area of music production so i need help.
I have an akai cd3000xl sampler and so far i've not had much joy with using it.
It doesn't load .wav files which most samples are made up of and i'd love to be able to find how to convert .wav to akai format. I believe there is such a thing as an "i s o format file"for doing this but i dont know where to get it.Can anyone help?

Can you save the audio as data? Or in other words, just make a data version of what it is you want to load?
