Can you name the drum break? (dilla)

Not that I really care but that still does not sound like it. If in fact those are the drums he used, the kick and snare are layered and sound pretty different.

i feel somewhat proud.

the snare sounds a bit like its got one from the mountain 'long red' break that Pete Rock used to use layered behind it.

The rhythm is similar, but I really don't think it is this at all.
I think they are layered. I have made drums patterns from one shots off of different records that sound more like a break than this (not hating on Dilla at all just saying he didn't intend for it to sound like a break)..... So if I can make it sound real.... Dilla could. I believe these are one shots, and that they were played.

The snare however sounds familiar. That might be why you think its a break.
