hmm.... take a longer sample, something like a 4 bar loop or something... then set the settings, and i'm sure, you will hear something.... maybe set a low pas filter, to 50 or something, and then in the lfo settings, choose also filter 1.... (and the rates...) only for playing around, but I'm sure, then you will hear something, and you'll hear how the lfo's works.....

lfo's are traditionally used to do a variety of things, filter oscillations , pitch oscillations, amplitude oscillations on or off time with the main tempo :
sync - set to off: LFO rate runs independently of tempo, set to on: LFO rate tied to tempo in beat/tick measures.
delay - LFO effect occurs later as the value is increased.
many uses are to be found in experimenting, lots of different sounds/samples can 'respond' differently to many variants in the setup of the filters (nice on rich sounds, to swell and sweep through frequencies in a sound), pitch (adds a more 'naturally played' nuance to stiff samples - like vibrato at small values, then super rubber bendy stuff at high values) twinned with different rates, this set low can be super mellow or high can be more of a dizzy robot.
just set it up and tweak, each different sound u use can give different results.

put the rate on something like 0.20 then change pitch - or if you've applied a filter on the filter page then you can change the filter values and again - same with velocity.

maybe I'm stupid, but I don't find an option to do this with velocity..... or am I missunderstanding??? I searched here, and on google...but I don't find.....
