60 II or 3000 ?

My b-day is coming up and it's a milestone one so I'm getting something I've always wanted but never got . It's gonna be either a 60 II or a 3000 . I've always had a 2000 classic and have never fcked w/ either of these machines . I'm looking for comparisons by people who have used both .

Most people are going to tell you the 3K... because of the new OS and the effects...

yea, id say the 3000 too... if you get a 60, make sure its fully pimped... it will cost you as much as a 3000 to fully upgrade the 60 yourself... OS, Memory, Scsi, and replacement floppy drives for that thing arent cheap or as easily located anymore...

Had to do it . . . . . copped the 3000 . I was gonna go w/ the 60 II (they're going for cheap on eBay right now) for the grittyness but I figured all that'll take is throwing a S-950 in the mix .

I have an MPC3000 I love my sampler more than my girl...seriously grab the MPC3000 it has the lift up display MPC 60 II does not have that, also MPC3000 screen is on the left side makes a big difference and the features are basically the same but the MPC3000 is cosmetically a better made machine and I feel is better equipped for the sit down producer....
