What do you guys think is the perfect/necessary companion for the MPC 2000xl or any MPC for that matter?

A card reader equipped with a memory card is it's perfect mate. Just don't watch when the card reader and the memory card get freaky. It's not nice.... MPC Porn. LOL.

Yeah for 2kxl, mcd is the #1 best thing you can do for it.

Yeah I know, there is no best, but for this one, this is it.

1) see above
2) 32 megs of internal memory
3) depending on your studio setup the 8-outs or the eb-16 (I know loads of people think it is wack but hey I'm a wack producer who should stick to a 404)

Couple your MP with a decent stereo compressor. It will bring out all the hidden soul of your box.

WOw, I never knew they made these. Hardware or software? Hows it work? What do you do feed it a tempo and it will tell you what settings to put it on?

I don't know man, I read this already.... Several times. And before I read it I was already navigating the MPC pretty well and making some nice material. One thing I'd like to have though is the 8 outs. Also the MFC 42.

Yes it is different. The unread version has words, pictures and explanations in it.
The 2000XL paper copy manual that some people get I guess has blank pages. That's why they ask sooooooooo many questions here on the forum
