I'm on the fence about selling my XL to get a 2500 with JJ OS. My biggest concern is MIDI timing when sequencing external gear. How does a JJ OS 2500 compare to the XL?

the 2000 was solid for miding I have found that there was a few bugs with the 2500 and it concerns me but a few tweaks it will be fine nothing really to worry about.
You will like it but not be blown away with it the chop shop is okay but it is better than the 2000 and the XL slightly....

folks who have switched from the 2000 don't complain about the timing in jjos.
in fact, it's not even really discussed- because it ain't an issue! that should put this concern to rest.

This is no doubt the case. Question is: did it improve the timing enough to measure up to the XL? I'm interested in hearing from anyone who can test this. The search function has produced zero results on this particular comparison.
Opinions are well and good, but I prefer science.

Too cool. Cheers!
