best keyboard under $1000?

I have a friend that has a classic triton, that's the last keyboard you should be looking at for realistic sounds.

I've got a k2500 rack w/ sampling option that's pretty realistic on the sounds that I've seen go for as much as $400. But like some of other suggestions, you really shouldn't have a hard time picking up something nice.

If it was my $1000 well its not a grand here ...my Xmas wishlist would be a Moog Voyager

But santas just paid out £400 on car repairs and its not even Xmas yet

Bagged a Vestax Handytrax for some old vinyl i have laying around

just got a GC holiday catalog in the mail the other day and they had the mm8 i belieave it was by yamaha but correct me if im wrong.but GC labeled it as the first/only workstaion for under 1000
