Time ago it was the same for me, but only during the loading of samples, after that I've changed the cables and their position and distortion was gone.
In my first setup the power chord, the zip data cable and the output cable were all touching each other , now all the power cords of my system are on the right of my desk, the zip data cable is "alone" in the middle going to the zip under the mpc and all the audio cable are on the left.
So I'll try to disconnect the zip after the load.
But also I think Lampdog advice more reliable.
