master compressor is a MUST for me. i always have it on with some pretty extreme settings. livens up the mix a lot and keeps things in control when doing lots of live tweaking that can result in unpredictable level changes. can also be exploited for creative effects.
i make heavy use of SIMULT SEQUENCE. i get the feeling this is a slept on feature because i don't see it discussed much but you can do some cool stuff with it ( nym, you mentioned wanting simult programs... you can do this using SIMULT SEQ ).
i spend 99% of my time in GPE. i use pretty much everything in there except SIMULT PAD.
i always use the Q-LINKS.
effects: i use the delay a lot. the others only occasionaly.
i still have never used song mode.
i hardly ever use 16 LEVELS, but i would like to see this feature improved.
