Question for people with broken/loose ram card holders.....

I've heard alot of people use a piece of plastic to hold the ram down. What object/material exactly do you people use? What is a good thing to use that wont move around when you pick the mpc up, and wont get hot/melt if this is even possible?

I've thought of using a sponge or some type of squishy material and stacking it until enough pressure is applied to it when the battery compartment is closed so that is doesn't move. Is a sponge a safe material to use?

How about a sock ?
Like one with a hole in it, or one that you lost the match to ?

i used a thick black rubber band, since only one of my legs was damaged and luckily didnt snap all the way off, so the band just hold both legs in

If I was in this situation I would try hot glue. It's non-conductive and non-corrosive plus it's easy to apply and easy to take off if needed. Just glue the sides of the ram and clips.

I think i'm gonna try the sock. One of my clips completely broke off and is bouncing around stuck in the mpc.
