i just signed up for bmi for a songwriter/composer account. now i have a couple features on albums along wit beats. does the composer part cover my beats? i kno there has to be a copyright inplace. should i have went wit publishing? what is the difference?

I'm sure that the good folks at BMI can help you with all your questions. We're BeatHeads, not lawyers. I suggest checking the Library of Congress for copyright issues because they actually check your beats for unlicensed samples. Its free with no lawyer's fee.
