a artist whole album on a micro sd

i was in best buy a few weeks ago a saw jeezy's and ne-yo's album on micro sd cards.i thought it was pretty koo how you can have the whole album on your phone and still have half of the card to your self....is this the future of album sells?

yeah , its called slot music , i heard about it a few months back , they want to make it the new platform. they sell dedicated Micro SD players also. id rather have a CD though..id end up losing an SD if i have more than 10. the only thing im not sure of is once u have the album, r u able to take all the files off the SD and use it as storage if u wanted to ? or does it have some sort or write protection ? (i would think u could remove everything though)

yea i seen them at best buy...but the whole media player thing is like having a cd player all over again but you have to change out the sd cards...ppl are gunna lose them with the quickness...

is the audio quality still 16 bit 44.1 hz???????

i hope their not gona compress them into weak quality mp3s

I don't think this is going to go very far either.

Those things are too small. I think mp3's are going to take the place of cd's. I don't see micro sd cards taking over as far as music distribution but its cool little idea....

u know , as much as i love my sandisk sansa, ipod, and zune, lol, i do miss those days of walking around my old neighborhood with my walkman and a pocket full of cassettes. hardly any bought ones though, nothin but my blend tapes. damn those were the days. i can still feel the vibration of the motor in the walkman when the batteries would be dying..
