WWWhhhaattt... transfered sounds are faster ?tempo

i transferred some sounds to my mpc from my cmoputer and they are faster tempo? i think,, they just sound off key and outta wack, they sound sliek shiit like this. why did they get sped up? anyone can help me out?

I noticed that to on my mpc once , but it went away. And when i transfered the sound on to my mac, they were also sped up on i tunes as well. What the hell is going on?

damn I knew I should have waited longer for them bugs to be fixed, but the temtation was maxed. I just ordered one yesterday...

does it have anything to do with the q-links?

check your sample rate... I am pretty sure 22k will sound fast if played at 44.1

Yup, I was trying to send some sample over from my computer, I changed them to WAV from MP# but didnt check to make sure they where 44.1 so they where sped up and I couldnt figure the shit out for the life of me. but I noticed it one day and changed it and it play fine

yea, having a different sample rate then what mpc1000 requires will speed up the sample or cause errors, think of it as it being a different format if the .wav is not saved as 16 bit- 44.1 stereo or mono.

so everything HAS to be sampled in 44100 now? for real time results?

exactly ,yur samples have to be 44.1 16bit to sound right,simple as that
