the akai os 2.11 has a cool feature id like JJ to include that does just this.
basically you can set a patch phrase sample to loop and it will play continually as you describe without fading away.

Thats true nym (prior to 2.11) but JJ has added loads of stuff that mpc's dont do.
I wouldnt use patch phrase loops for composition purposes but it'd cool for playing around with for live sets.
considering how many people post here asking "how do i trigger a loop and play it continually"
and its also in the current akai os. I dont think it be a bad idea for JJ to add it too. Id definitely find a use for roland sp type loop triggers alongside all JJ's other additions.
