MPC 1000 AND VISTA

I need help with this little issue I've had the MPC 1000 for awhile and I used to hook it up to my computer that had just windows xp on it and it would read it as a storage device and I could drag and drop files to the card yi'mean now that I have vista it dosen't read it at all . I'm guessing it has somthing to do with the drivers but I could not find updates and any info so i'm hopeing that someone on this forum could help or just point me the right direction.

Hook up the USB cable to your MPC, then to your PC.
Wait a second, then on the MPC, hit [MODE] - LOAD, and select USB (F4). Once you do that, Vista will detect it and automatically install the drivers.

Guess he probably tryed that already.

Other people with vista are having the same type of problems. Some ext. devices he just can't detect.

Vista on my pc reads the mpc flawless, but can't read my firewire mixer.
Since I have a dualbooth with vista and xp, I work with xp most of the time.

Maybe u can install the free JJOS, or skip back to xp untill they've debugged vista
