hard disk problem??

i bought today hd 4 laptop 120GB (itw richmond db 3050) and it fits fine it recognizes him in the mode load, load from: hard disk thats all ok, it recognizes him on my pc 2, hard drive MPC25000DISK with 120 gb all kool

but when i want to digital record from a cd player it shows me only 27 s like earlier, and when i load data from memory card to my mpc it says insuficent memory

i dont know is it compatible with my mpc or what?

im new 2 the forum and 2 the mpc so sry if noob questions.

with a little effort in searching i´m sure you would have found out on yourself:

the harddrive is only for storage - if you want a machine that can record directly to the harddrive then buy a mpc 5000.

you need the ram expansion (akai exm128 or any 256mb 144pin so-dimm from a third party manufacturer that works) to get more sample time.
