Do they sell new mpc 4000?

And if I up grade will my sound libraries work from my 1000 to the 4000?
There is a used blue 4000 in my local shop I could trade my1000 today with dough for the 4000.
But buying used scares me, I have no Idea what kind of setting that machine was in.
It's 1899.00 and I can trade mine for 700.00 for up to two years. memory on board it self is sick!

Sorry, but the answer is...no more new 4k's. Anything being sold these days would be, 9 outta 10, a refurb/used.

They haven't had a 4000 for more than a year . PSSL is the worst maintained music amongst the major sellers.

Their site is littered with geared that is discontinued and not in stock.

Which isn't that bad since you still get a warranty.
AMS still gets them in from time to time.

JJ has stated his work will only be with the 1k/2500.
It's not like the 4k has a high failure rate on parts and most of the physical parts that will fail over time will be accessible since they are commonn to MPC's.

Understand one thing if you want or need a 4k then you want or need a 4k.
Don't expect another MPC to be able to stand in for it.
