need help with my new mpc !!!!!!!!! please

ok i just got an mpc and all i have is the 16 mb standerd ok so i wanted to remove the sounds that are on the built in memory so i can have more memory for my own samples, another question ok um i was trying a test sequence and i was laying over some drum sounds over a song i sampled and i noticed everytime i hit the pad for the drum sound it cuts off the other sample, is there something wrong with my mpc or something, im still learning so maybe i did something wrong i hope someone can answer my question

i never dealt with ram, mine was bought used and was maxed out, so i always had enuff, but the reason the sounds are cutting off when u hit another pad because the samples are set to mono .....u want poly.....look it up in the manual (it can be downloaded from akais website) or search this forum...its been covered already ! good luck

Take autoload off and check your mute groups.
