Is this a bug??

i'm on jj os2 1.19. I want to sample (resample) from the main outs using the mono l+r setting. when played back it's really loud and distorted! tried it a few times and still get the same result. anyone had this problem?

I don't have OS2, but I'd think that adding both channels together will usually make everything louder than if it is stereo. Just turn down the master level before sampling (in 'other' screen).

if you resample with the master effects turned on, the new sample will have double the e.q and compression if you dont turn off the fx before playback. e.g. original output low eq= +6. after resampling you will add another 6db to the sample. in my opinion the best method is turn master effects off before resampling.
