this might seem like a silly question but.....quantize

i'm thinking about getting a 5oo, how if any does the quantize function differ from the 1000?

where it says the mpc-500 can record track mutes, I see where it talks about muting in realtime but it doesn't say about recording those mutes is it possible?

dont think so, though ive never tried it

i dunno everyone has been asking for recordable track mutes in the next software upgrade.

where do you see it in the manual?

there is a track mute feature on the 500 if thats what you're asking

The track mutes are not recordable... it would be nice if they were, I'm crossing my fingers on the next update if there is another one... I've found other ways around the non recordable track mutes but it does make for a heavier work flow.

recordable track mutes would be incredible. hoping for this too.
