is there a way to globally remove loop settings on files?

a lot of the sounds i've found for free on the net are set to loop. they'll be looped in strange ways like a snare will loop over & over or a brass hit will be looped up so tight that it just clicks or doesnt play at all. is there a way to globally undo the settings?

Open the loop up in an editing program (soundforge) and do what you gotta do there...AKA...trim up and take what u need

I believe Awave can remove loops during a batch process.
