Help needed !!

Hi I am planing to do my own electro house,house, trance music and I am going to buy mpc 1000 or mpc 2500. Can someone tell is that enough or do i need something else beside mpc ? I have now 2x cd decs, mixer and mac.

It depends, remember the MPC is a sampler so your melodies will either have to be sampled or played out in which case you would need either a software synth or some type of keyboard/workstation setup.

I am trying to avoid softwares so what kind of keybord would be best for example ? Is that the hole setup that i need keyboard and mpc ? sorry for the questions, new at this

again its going to depend....if you dont want to do software you have the motif, the phantom and many many more options. THeres also countless sound modules that will be considerably cheaper than a workstation granted that you purchase a controller and can spend a few minutes setting up the midi (which isnt all that hard). I think where you should start is the store. Go down there and check out the sounds on different pieces of gear. Emu has the XL-1 module which came out a few years back, its loaded with real synthy sounds that might work out real well with the sound you may be looking for. And they can be aquired fairly cheap.
