I've been getting cheap deals on Jazz, soul lots of like 25 & 50 on ebay latly. Some even rare, but I never see anyone else bidding on them. I used to shop locally but ebay is coming through, anyone else shop vinyl through ebay? Any good experiences, finds?

Those lots are all over the place. I stay away from them because they're generally left over records nobody wants. Sure, there might be some nice pieces in there but they're usually in bad condition and the shipping on the Lot just makes it pointless.
One of the things that will quickly turn me off from those Lots is when they say something like: "Records range from VG to VG+" or some sh*t like that.
No thanks IMO.

yeah there s some good stuff sometimes, usually theres only one or two records that r worth it the rest are junk you get luck sometimes tho.

you never know tho really look into the lot and ask alot of questions before you buy.

try to do the research on the records also.

i'll buy a record off of ebay only if it's a record that i have been searching for in the past.
if i know i definitely won't find it anywhere else i'll then buy off of ebay.

You guys are much more organized and dedicated then me then. I prob have over 3,000 records, half hip hop, half blues, classical, soul, jazz, etc... But I strictly look for lots of jazz, blues, and soul that have rare artists or albums in it. Yea, half of um don't have great stuff on it, but I find gems very often going the lot route. I guess I'm less of a collector then I am a sample hord. haha

Dfinitely, I buy tons of records on ebay and through SET SALES on various forums. Online digging has allowed me to get a hold of incredible records I would have to wait 5 to 10 years to find out in the field for a reasonable price. In return, I also flip records Im not interested in and it kind of evens it all out. However I still stay away from Lots unless "local pickup" is an option.

I have yet to try eBay. I just don't want to buy shit and wait 7 days to get it. I want to flip it now.

Also, I saw a video with Black Milk and he had like 300 records and was like... "I just dig dope shit, because this is all I have"

That kind of hit home with me. LOL.
