YOUR FRONT END IS VERY IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'm a recording engineer and speaking from my experience and knowledge you have to focus on what touches the sound in the signal path and your front end is important. If you want good sonic quality then focus on your mic choice, preamp choice, AD/DA conversion, and accurate monitoring is the key guys. Digital recordings are sonically thin and harsh fellas. you want sonic quality, then cake up on your front end and stop fronting on yourself treat yourself to the sonic quality you deserve. now quality music is another thing that you have to have yourself naturally. msofficial is totally right on this one. Having an assortment of preamps with different components in them gives you different ways of coloring your sound. you can go for warmth or transparency.PREAMP-A/DD/A CONVERTER-MONITORS very important. keep striving to satisfy yourselves and have fun with your music PEACE ONE LOVE YA
