Converting Floppy Files To USB or CD

Hi Guys,

I am sick and tired of saving files on my MPC 2000 XL to Floppy Disk. Is there any way to save my files to FLASH OR CD.

I searched for a ZIP but can't seem to find one.

Yes you can install a card reader and save your files to a CF card or a SD card

Here is what i would do:

save all you floppies to computer
make sure all names of sounds etc are only 8 letters long!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

buy an internal IDE (not scsi) zip drive (or better: 2, one for the mpc, one for your computer) from ebay (cheap!)

put one into your pc, transfer all your floppies to a zip

put the other zip into your mpc, take out the floppy, alter the floppies power lead so that it fits the zip drive's, you might need to bastardise a an IDE hard drive power lead. No bit deal, I think there is plenty of info that you can google about it.
