Nice joints Flu! I can officially say I don't have any of them joints! I dollar bin like crazy, but here in Detroit, our Dollar bins have stuff like Dorothy Ashby in em.. you won't get them like that all the time, but you definitely find some good sh*t in there when you least expect it.

don't know about that shit, but I think you should re-release that city slickers album without the weaklinks, i really like your production esthetics throw a nice turntablist sparingly on top of that shit and I'd be listening all day. there is a reason we put icing on top of cakes and not grease.

that's cool. i can't find what i'm looking for in dollar bins, mainly since they're hard to find in the U.S. in general, let alone bins. most of the digging isn't physical anyway, you deal with collectors in different cities/countries.

hey, it's a buyer's market right now though. you can pick up some dope records ALOT cheaper than what they were going for a year ago. I just picked up a library that went for over 200 Euros last time it sold, for $90 USD. you can get some really good deals

you should consider putting up some audio clips of some of the music on those records, not like full tracks or anything, just some stuff to get the idea, i might be interested in getting some if i knew what was on them

true, but usually people who buy them already know what to expect, or just go by the name, or the artists involved, or the label, etc. usually if they really don't know about the record, i get an email asking if i can describe the music more, and when i do it's sold..

and yes they're hit or miss, but some are definitely solid and good. and what do you call rare grooves/jazz/funk albums of the 70s..they're 1 and 2 trackers too. it's how it goes when you dig for rare ****. those 1 or 2 tracks could alone make the album worth buying

I don't know what I'm taking about?? Here....These are 9 top Library records outta my hundreds I just grabbed to show you what I'm talking about when it comes to these records.

Your not selling any of these (or anything else really big) and these are known to any Lib heads to fetch big money and are not one/two trackers (minus TIB, which still commands at least $100.00 last I checked).

Secondly, as I stated before, IMO this is the wrong forum to try to sell these records because majority of dudes I've e-conversed with in here are dollar binners and "hit me off for the love" types. I can almost guarantee that nobody here will buy records that YOU say are hot and they never heard of for $50.00 (minimum) or that are funky funky one/two trackers. I put up some records for sale before that were big money getters on eBay for $25- 40 less than what they usually sell for, and I sold 2 here, and the rest elsewhere. What I got here was "I'll give you a buck for it" and a buncha lame azz jokers.

When I say that there was only 3 or 4 records worth buying, I meant for $50.00 or more that I personally know have a few samples or an LP worth of funkiness to 'em. There are a few I saw that I don't have, and would be interested in, but not for $50.00 (minimum). I'm not s**ting on your sales/site, I'm saying try listing on SoulStrut/eBay/Musicstack for a better response if your looking to unload for $50.00 plus per record.

nah i'm not selling any 'grails' that you'll find on soulstrut, who wants those anyway? every new Lib head is after them. not saying that's you but you know that to be true. but there is alot of quality **** on the site, and alot of overlooked albums. 75% will sell for $50 so i'm not worried about it

to say only 3 or 4 are worth buying is crazy though

i've had 6 of those 9 records you posted, they are more popular amongst Lib heads and everyone is after them. it's interesting that you posted those as the best you own, and there's only one french library? all i can say is, stay tuned in the next couple weeks

I just pulled from the best/most sought after from each publisher, not location. As far as overlooked libs, those are very far and few between. Mostly everyone who's got an interest in libs knows what's heat and what's a 1-2 trackers, or even strait poo. Even some of the well known publishers (KPM, Themes, Bruton, MPL'I, Parry, etc) got tons of basura. Some of the well sought after composers (Nilovic, Hawkshaw, Bennett, Costy, etc) have done suck LPs. When I started buying libs in 99/2000, I got burned on more than a few suck titles (The Full Bull comes to mind, along with Moog Generation on the FRENCH MP2000 label). As someone stated, you might wanna put up soundclips to prove otherwise for this stuff because if it's overlooked by now (this late in the game), it's for a reason.

p.s. since your into French lps, holla if you got a IM2 for sale.

when I say overlooked, there ARE alot of libraries that are solid, quality albums, and overlooked because they aren't the latest 'holy grail' being sold on diggers digest. I also mean in the sense of people who aren't up on every library album in existance like me and you are. Overlooked by the new guy who just read about the classics on soulstrut. like hey, you can find a decent library album over here with some listenable stuff. No it's not Mindbender but it's still got some goods. and there are TONS of albums like this, ranging from good to very good

I'll say this though, at the very least, every album I own is a 1-2 tracker, whereas MOST of what I have is solid, 3,4,5+ quality, listenable tracks. I may add soundclips down the line. But I've already gotten enough interest from people who are familiar with the LPs

If you're up on French and Italian stuff then you should already know how many decent library albums are out there. I'll give half of those Parrys as examples of decent library albums also.

I mean, there's a reason why not every library record sells for $300 or $10. there is a middle ground of decent stuff going for $50-$75

you're "there's only 1 or 2 worth buying" is misleading though. I already gave you countless examples why
