I thought those were user replaceable? Also thought they were about $30 on that one site...doesn't seem to bad to me. Maybe they're tough to put in?

Are you sure? If so, please share the link...
But consider the fact that if you have to ship to someone to have it repaired and have the work done by a pro it's a substantial amount of money regardless. I have 2 MPC 3000's at this moment and I've paid about 1300 for one and $1400 for the other. I haven't been checking it out that much right now but those were average prices like 2 years ago. One of the reasons MPC's might be going for cheap right now is the America recession so you might as well take advantage. I personally wanted to sell one of my MPC's but will wait this one out.

the 3000 auction that's linked in this thread had this link in it:

http://backlights.telesisgear.com/

and stated the backlights would be $33...now, if the seller was telling the truth or not, I don't know.

what's going on gentlemen?

i'm the seller of that 3000 (FOR CHEAP!) off ebay.
had to move it quickly so i tried to give somebody a good deal.

the guy paid quickly, i shipped the next day...we're good, right?

well, unfortunately, the guy that bought it has been emailing me nonstop.
apparently, it wasn't the backlight, it was the inverter.

dude wants to return it. i'm telling him no because i reported all the probelms as honestly as i could using all the knowledge i have.

what do you guys think?
also, where should i direct him to find a new inverter?
search function is telling me vst...anybody have any other leads?

thanks for your time!

Real talk .
