i was diggin last week before i went on a training trip for my job...
and was thinkning how many dope records i pass up that i have no interest in by the covers... and lately i wanna get my breaks up i have a good amount and some heavy sampled ones too (to me dope drums are dope drums and i dont mind recycleing a break at all! its why i love hip hop in the first place is that bbom bap!)... i have a gang of photos of my break covers but im out until the 14th...

any body care to post up covers of breaks

i have also reserched online for a cover library for breaks but couldnt find any really...
this may help some Us diggas keep a mental note when we are flippin crazy through those stacks...

Peace

Not a bad idea actually. I'm just afraid you'll run into the same problem as when asking for record titles themselves, nobody wants to give away their secrets.

well, if you've ever downloaded all those break records online, you could do an image search for some of the breaks you like enough to pay for, save the images, and refer to them from time to time. this is how i remembered a LOT of shit. there's so much music out there. overall, i'd suggest copping whatever you can for cheap. that's the only major way to find some more original breaks in the process.

yes i thought this may "border" breaking the rules... which in a sense it does but i dont make beats to sell or what ever i just like dope beats for my listening pleasure and as a hobby i keep it moving i am out on the job right now and do not get back until the 13th...

ill keep this post moving

and i'm going to post up maybe 10 breaks list them and tell what track there on...

diggin is a art
well everybody needs a little help

beat heads always have a inner circle and swap tech or sample sources
i have gained a lot of know how on this site so... this is a bit of a inner tribal thing

im not asking for your goldn gems but i dont like to download drums... im a sampler! always have always will be

peace .... and dont forget john denver's hit hats galore!!!

man i love diggin through the crates over the years ive learned the nack... and the budget hahaha and i keeps it honest in the store! no double packin LP's... if you get your man at the crib with a kenny G christmas album thats fair game hahaha

country has some of the best breaks i have heard in a long time... recently pulled a nice collection of Black Oak Arkansas and Fast Truckin Willie breaks real real dope
Not to mention a Dolly break!?!
