Hey all,
I'm new to hardware samplers/sequencers. Been using software exclusively for all sequencing/recording/sampling. I've always wanted a MPC and the new price drop of the 2500 finally justified a purchase. I'm having a **** of a time adjusting my Ableton Live workflow to the MPC... things that are super easy with Live and Vsts take a lot of manual work on the MPC, but ultimately i'm having fun with it.
My question, can I assign each pad to a different track? I like to record drum lives, the entire kit at once. I've noticed that a lot of Youtube videos show the recording process being done one track at a time... e.g record HHs on track 1, record snares on track 2, kicks on track 3, and so on. If I can't assign pads to different tracks, is there an easy way to separate the recorded midi onto different tracks? I'm using JJOS2 btw..
Hope I'm making sense. Peace
