Can the 2500 assign tracks to the 8 individual outputs?

To be precise, you set the pads in all the tracks to those outs.

You have to make sure that each track has a different program assigned to it. The mixer section does the pad/output channel selection based on each program rather than each track. So if you use the same program in another track, the pads will get assigned to the same outs globally. So if you want to use the same program in different tracks, but with different outs for each track, then you have to duplicate that program^
