JJOS A Major Mark in the History of the World (A Prophecy)

I believe that we as a culture in America have entered into a conclusion of a 40 year cycle. From 1969-2009 we have been given over to a false renasaince of musical culture. We have believed that every wave that comes is a "new thing" that will solve our cultural dilemmas, that will make us refreshed and renewed, that will make us able to overcome. These lies have caught the ears and eyes of every individual born and raised in every type of community. From those raised in the streets, to those raised in the wealthiest of homes.

We now stand watching as none of these false promises of blessing have held true. The promises of the psychedelic era have been found as lies, the promises of punk rock have been found as lies, the promises of new wave/no wave/disco have been found as lies, and I present to you that the promises of hip-hop (we now make a mockery of that culture) have been found as lies.

What is Truth?

I believe there are small waves and tidal waves in the history of musical culture. I believe that we as a group ages 0-50 have ridden every sort of small wave in music. Everything from bluegrass to grunge to jazz to trip-hop to technofliphop. Every one of these waves has come up empty. We have fallen short of meeting any sort of world changing musical shift. Everything has been held back, and we truly have not become anything but a culture of people grasping at nothing.

Now let us turn from natural realm to spirit realm.

I believe that in 1969, the youth culture of that day had a window of opportunity to become something world changing. They had the opportunity to awaken to Truth that would bring the world around them into healing. This was a window of Time where the spirit and natural realm intersected in a Destiny Moment, and that generation FAILED miserably to take that opportunity.

Now lets bring in JJOS

This is a sign of change in the music world. I believe as big business will submit to the tide of change, that small family owned business will again become the favorite of our culture. That the underdog will become the champion of the household. Independent programmers will become a sort of prophet to the musical world. Reinventing the wheel as far as what was, and what will be in the future.

My Predictions:
1. Electronic music will become studied in labs across the world as the healing ability of sound waves will become scientifically proven. (It will be first heralded as a "supernatural" healing, but then sound-ear-body healing sequences will be proven and used in clinical settings)
2. JJOS will become a model for the "pirate programmer". Everyone will become interested in the possibilities of making the computer do your bidding. There will be a great stream of user friendly electronic music programming becoming available. User friendly being the main focus, as JJ has become a Champion of user friendly.
3. There will be a Tidal Wave of musical innovation similar to the Psychedelic Era of 1969. We are already seeing the beginnings of it, but what will happen in the Summer of 09'? Will it be the Summer of Love? I suggest to you that there will be a Window of Time for this generation to be the Champions of Truth/or the Champions of Lies. Those who are Champions of Truth will bring healing, those who are Champions of Lies will bring death.
4. "Expansion is the phrase of the century". We MUST expand at all costs. I believe there will be a Spiritual Technology Boom alike to the .com Boom. That will blow all spiritual understanding that our world currently knows out of the water. Be on the right side, or be on the weird side, because the spirit realm can be WEIRD! Yet, those on the right side will EXPAND into territories unknown, and my generation will be released into Life Giving Ministry to the Homeless and Heartless that will be amazing.

You bring up a lot of ideas in your post. Let's look at just one--the one quoted above. What do you see as the beginnings of this "tidal wave of musical innovation," specifically? Any particular artists recently that have seriously broken the mold? Do tell.

What actions constitute being a champion of truth or a champion of lies? What ideas more specifically do you see as representing truth/lies? What kind of healing do you see taking place, and/or in what form will death come? We talkin' straight up Revelations-type rapture, or something less biblical? (I just throw that out there b/c of your handle, of course.)

I do not really listen to any music besides Christian Vinyl from the 70's, so I am not referencing individual artists. But, the atmosphere is an atmosphere of innovation. Really because people are getting tired of generic bland music. I believe that the innovation is not in the music itself, but in the drive to find something new and different. In that process a lot of generic music, along with innovative pieces are being made, but the drive for unique itself will eventually lead to a breakthrough in musical genius.

Somewhere out there someone is really pushing into something that they don't quite yet understand, but is the answer for the musical passion of this generation. I don't know what it will look like, just speaking about what is to come in a rough outline of the Vision.

Someone who is a "champion of Truth" breaks down lies to find the Truth. Someone who is a "champion of lies" breaks down the Truth to find lies that they can accept because of their own wrong motives/spiritual framework.

For example: If someone would rob a convenience store and when caught, would say, "I believe that I have the right to this money, because I pay taxes in the USA".

That is someone who tries to break down the Truth, which is, "The breaking of the Law with robbery will always overrule any belief system that would make it out to be an excusable act"

Anyone who continues to break down the Truth to find lies in these type of manners, will find themselves becoming more and more unstable and unusable in the season of blessing that we are entering into.

Someone who tries to break down lies to find the Truth: This is happening on this forum many times, when you get a quote from Akai for example, and you can tell that it really is lies, people break down the quote into pieces, and examine it to find the lies within the statement, whether they be fully clear, or partially clear, you are actually dissecting the lies to find the Truth.

Now, this is kids stuff compared to the type of thing we will be seeing. But, it is an example on a small scale of what is taking place.

I purpose that the 60's generation as a whole, broke down the Truth to find lies, and this generation will be the polar opposite and break down lies to find the Truth.

I guess you are sensing this atmosphere from this forum, since it's not from any contemporary music. That's pretty cool. But, it seems a bit grandiose (just a wee bit) to then claim that people in general are sick of music as it is and innovation is on the brink of a huge turning point which will produce musical genius. But yeah, whatever is fueling these thoughts of yours is pretty awesome! I just don't necessarily follow you to your end point.

So basically liars and equivocators on the one hand, and shrewd readers on the other. This reminds me of an Aesop Rock lyric: "this one's for the absurd verdict linkers; this one's for that cat at all my shows with all the prophetic opinions who can't remember where his drink is"

Christian Vinyl is a largely untapped source of samples I believe. And there are a LOT of interesting records.

Including Christian Soul, which would probably be a fave of MPC users.

i think more truth came out of the psycadlic era than you think.

i think what i grasp from what jesus is saying is that things in our society get built up to a level of complexity to the point were it has no choice but to crumble into the humble and simple beginnings of its birth... and i think thats what we are experiencing not only artistically, but in other realms of life... to quote boots riley from the coup "this is where shit gets deep, it reads macaroni on my birth certificate. pootietang is my middle name but i cant hang gettin' hustled only knowing half the game"-Fat Cats Bigga Fish.
